We are trying to go live with our 9.5 SP1 upgrade (from 9.0 sp3)
Part of our strat plan is to run the agent upgrades in waves, based on region and site (we have about 40 global sites.) During the upgrade time, we plan to use a DNS pointer to point all our 9.0 agents to the 9.5 core. We successfully did this with our 8.8 to 9.0 upgrade.
I am running through our IQ testing and have hit a wall with Software Distribution.
I am receiving the error that my task failed with "The selected delivery method and or package(s) require features that are not provided by the agent installed on this target. This can be resolved by upgrading the agent to the latest version."
Return Code is 1076.
Our implementer confirmed that we should not have any issues with the strategy above, so now I'm hoping the community can help.
Does anyone have a listing of features that would cause this in the delivery methods or distribution packages?
